Type series of ISTOL
induction melting equipments with crucible furnaces - rated melt capacity of
ferrous metal from 40 kg up to 10 tons - is designed for melting, reheating,
holding on temperature and metallurgical treatment of ferrous metals (steel and
cast iron). Furnaces are power can be regulated ontinuously between 20 and 100 %
of rated value. Usually the equipment consists of two furnaces altematively
Ilterconnected with one feeding converter. This arrangement enables
uninterrupted operation in the event of furnace rammed lining making or repair.
Furnaces are interconnected with converter by special disconnecting switch with
electric servomotor. Hydraulic drive for furnace tilting. Frequency converter,
capacitor bank and furnaces are water-cooled. Cooling circuits are equipped with
automatic checking of temperature and water passage. Induction melting, holding and reheating frequency equipments are also manufactured in modifications for treatment of nonferrous metals, e.g. coppper, aluminium, zinc and their alloys; for special using - glass or precious metal melting etc. |

high hygienic conditions in melting plant Basic accessory of each equipment is a break-through watching device, which reduces risk in the event of melt penetration to furnace coil. This watching device is also signalling the dry-state of new rammed crucible, the earth short circuit of power circuit and it prevents formation of a melt-to-earth potential. As optional accessories of equipment are delivered an automatic programmer for control of furnace operation, weighing device, device for rise of temperature of new rammed crucibles, etc. |
